We all love designing materials for the classroom, but sometimes we need more ideas and a bit of stimulation. Other times, for example, when preparing for exams, we need informed guidance in the form of lesson plans, practice materials and coursebooks, written by experts in the field.
Over the years I have worked for a number of organisations on educational materials; with Longman on the Gold series for FCE and CAE; with Trinity College London designing, writing, commissioning and editing their teacher support materials and lesson plans for teachers preparing their students for Trinity GESE and ISE exams (some examples: GESE A1, GESE A2 & B1, GESE B2); and most recently, I worked for Oxford University Press on the A2 and B2 books for passing Trinity GESE spoken exams (see the books section).
